GLORIA (McINTOSH) FRIDAY
Gloria Friday, age 86, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her home in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. She was born Gloria Catherine McIntosh on October 26, 1928 in Clairton, Pennsylvania, one of 5 children of Clarence and Ruth Alberta (Leightley) McIntosh. She graduated from Clairton High School in 1946 and has remained friends with many classmates. Gloria worked for G.C. Murphy during the 1970’s and also volunteered at Jefferson Hospital.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 of her 4 siblings. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 66 years, Paul Edward Friday. She was the loving mother of David Friday, Pete (Somkid) Friday and Marilyn (David) Neu; the devoted grandmother of Jonathan Neu, Cristina, John and Peter Friday and caring great grandmother to Anthony, Alex, Madison and Savannah Friday.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 – 8 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills.
