GINA MARIE MUSCANTE
Gina Muscante, age 60, of Lincoln Borough, Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young adult. While we are devastated by her death, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life.
Gina was born on February 1, 1965, one of two children of Janet Evans and Frank Perry. She grew up in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania and graduated from Upper St. Clair High School in 1981. She earned degrees from Robert Morris University and then had several successful years working in commercial sales.
She met her beloved husband in July 1994 on a blind date, was engaged in April 1995 at Disney, and was married on November 25, 1995, in Glassport Assembly of God (now River City Church AG). Together, they had two children. Her family was her pride and joy. She stepped away from her career to raise her kids and then returned part time so that she could have a flexible schedule to keep up with their activities. She cherished her time serving on the PTA and as a Band Parent. She would talk about her kids to anyone who would listen.
Gina’s friendships were rich and spanned decades. Her friends describe her as kind, sweet, caring, loving, genuine, warm, lighthearted, funny, joyful, and beautiful. She gave the warmest hugs, had a smile that would light up the room, and had a special way of making people leave feeling better than when they came. She cared deeply about everyone she met and went out of her way to make them feel valued, seen, and loved. To know Gina was to love her.
She was a devoted follower of Christ and enjoyed serving in her church, where she impacted countless children and teenagers over the years through the children’s ministry, planned monthly coffeehouses and annual community outreach events, co-lead a small group with her husband, volunteered as bookkeeper, and regularly made meals for those in need. She also enjoyed being outside, watching Hallmark movies, and traveling with family and friends; her favorite spot was Sanibel Island, Florida, followed closely by Disney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 30 years, Falco A. Muscante; two children, son, Falco A. (Julianne) Muscante II, and daughter, Talia Muscante; sister, Jennifer (Brandt) Gray; nephew, Maxwell (Eva) Gray; and nieces, Abigail and Olivia Gray.
Gina’s visitation for family and friends is on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home (1701 State Route 51, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025, 412-383-0350, www.stephendslater.com). Her Celebration of Life is on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11 a.m. at River City Church AG (210 Fifth Street, Glassport, Pennsylvania 15045). Her burial in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania will follow the service.
Donations can be made in her honor to the children’s ministry at River City Church AG.
Gina is now at peace in the arms of her Savior.
