Frank Grelo, age 79 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born Frank James Grelo on June 25, 1937 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania the only child of Frank and Susan Ann (Yonick) Grelo. He served in the U.S. Army, 1st Armored Division in the early 1960’s; worked many years in the maintenance department at Continental Can in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania; was a founding member of Steel City Classics; an avid collector of many things and a member of American Legion, Keffer Post # 75 in Clairton, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Teresa Ann (Edwards) Grelo; five children, Daughter, Lynn, (Eric Johnson) Lubinsky of North Fayette Township, Pennsylvania and her three children, Grandsons, TJ (Beka) Fullard and Mitchell Fullard and Granddaughter, Emily Fullard; Son, Frank W. Grelo of Finleyville, Pennsylvania and his two children, Grandson, Frankie D. Grelo and Granddaughter, Summer Grelo; Daughter, Lori (Alex) Poarch of Brentwood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and her Son, Grandson, Alexander Poarch; Stepson, Richard (Susan) Craggs of Florida and Stepson, Kenneth (Milissa) Craggs of Rostraver Township, Pennsylvania and his three children, Grandsons, Nathan and Cody and Granddaughter, Mackenzie Craggs.
Friends will be received on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 2 – 7 PM in Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 11 AM. Frank’s burial with Military Honors will be in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania.
