Frank Bergel

Frank “Frayo” Bergel , age 67, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania and Venice, Florida, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018. Frank was born January 28, 1951 in Braddock, Pennsylvania, 1 of 3 children of Frank J. & Veronica (Sentipal) Bergel. He grew up in Duquesne, Pennsylvania and graduated from Duquesne High School in 1968.

Frank was a member of the GBU in Duquesne and Elk's Club in Braddock, and a former postal worker in the Duquesne area. He is the former owner of Silky's Gentleman's Club, Hatfields Restaurant & Lounge in Lawrenceville, and Dot & Sandy's Lighthouse Marina & Restaurant in Bunola. He was an avid boater, a classic car collector and a cigar aficionado.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Kasper; brother, Ronald Bergel; and nephew Benjamin Bergel. Frank is survived by his wife, Sandra (Traud) Bergel; daughter, Jessica (Dean) Miller of Suffield, Ohio; grandsons, Declan & Killian Miller; and his mother-in-law Margaret Traud of West Mifflin.

Friends will be received on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM in Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home, 1701 Route 51, Jefferson Hills, 412-384-0350.  There will be a Prayer in the Funeral Home on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Baldwin, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
