LEE MOORE
Emerson Lee Moore, III, age 70, of Centerville in Washington County , Pennsylvania , died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in Family Hospice & Palliative Care, Mt Lebanon Facility in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania . Lee was born January 25, 1944 in Waynesburg , Pennsylvania , one of two sons of Emerson Lee, Jr, and Audrey (Cox) Moore.
He was a retired foreman for the Equitable Gas Company; was a member of the American Legion in West Brownsville , Pennsylvania and had retired from the Army in 1989 after serving 23 years during the Vietnam Era and in the Reserves.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Judy Heckman Moore; daughter, Dayna (John) Timcheck of Cloverdale, Indiana; son, Don Moore of Bedford , Indiana ; step-daughter, Wendy (Mike) Gabauer of Finleyville, Pennsylvania ; 4 grandchildren, Hal ey and Adam Timcheck, Jesse Moore and Rachael Gabauer and his brother, Larry (Sue) Moore of Waynesburg.
As per Lee’s wishes there is no viewing or visitation only a private burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with Military Honors.
His family suggests donations may be made in his name to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Mt. Lebanon , 50 Moffett Street , Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania 15243 .
