ELIZABETH "LIZ" RUFFING
Liz Ruffing, age 72, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at her home in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, surrounded by family members. She was born on April 14, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Liz is survived by her husband, Ron Ruffing; two children, son, Ron (Gina) Ruffing and daughter, Dana (Greg) Turk; six grandchildren, Scott, Alex, Tyler, Riley, Shepherd and Chase and her mother, Betty McRoberts.
Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills on Sunday from Noon ‑ 3 PM and 5 ‑ 8 PM. A funeral prayer will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 9 AM, with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10 AM in Holy Spirit Catholic Church in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Fr John Lendvai, of Holy Spirit, will be celebrating the Mass. Liz's burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills area of Pittsburgh.
