ELIZABETH  "BETTY"  SITKO

Elizabeth “Betty” Sitko, age 79 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, formerly of Glassport, Pennsylvania, died on Saturday, October 31, 2015.  Betty was born June 23, 1936 in Glassport, one of four children to John and Julia Sitko.  She was a retired Mellon Bank employee of over 30 years who loved traveling, cross stitching and golf.

She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, Dorothy (John) Murga of Liberty Borough, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Robert (Rose) Sitko of Greenville, South Carolina and Kenneth (Lois) Sitko of the North Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; 8 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 - 4 and 6 ‑ 8 pm on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in St. Thomas A’Becket Catholic Church 139 Gill Hall Road, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025. Father Dan Maurer will Celebrate the Mass. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery (part of Corpus Christi Cemeteries) in Port Vue, Pennsylvania.
