EILEEN  CELESTINO

Eileen Celestino age 70 of West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, died on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home.  She was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, Eileen Louise Bendel, on April 20, 1950 one of six children of George and Mary Louise (Dale) Bendel.

Eileen was retired from the West Jefferson Hills School District where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years.  She loved going on vacations with her family and loved her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daryl Arthur Celestino in 2015 and two of her siblings, brothers George and Dennis Bendel.  Eileen is survived by two children, son, Craig (Megan) Celestino of Beaver, Pennsylvania and daughter, Gina (Justin) Deem of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Connor and Alivia Celestino and Carter and Landon Deem and her three remaining siblings, Nancy Polcawich, Daniel (Becky) Bendel and Judy (Steve) Harouse

Family and friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-383-0350) on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM.  Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 12:30 PM with Pastor Michael Airgood officiating the service.  Eileen will be buried in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery next to Daryl

If desired please make donations in Eileen’s name to any Kidney Disease Research program.

Due to the limitations on indoor gatherings visitors to the funeral home will be limited to 25 people at a time and all people MUST wear masks.  The limit of 25 people will apply to Eileen’s funeral service as well.
