Edwin "Ed" Reesey, age 85, of West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 8, 2020 at his home, with family by his side.  He was born on June 27, 1934 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, 1 of 9 children of Elmer Vernon Reesey and Jenny Kathryn (Gilliland) Reesey.

Throughout his life he had various jobs in the Philadelphia and Johnstown areas, his favorite was as a police officer for 25 years in various communities in the Johnstown area.  Ed also worked 13 years for Sunshine Biscuit Company in Altoona and Dillner Transfer Company in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, William, Robert and John Reesey; 1 grandson, Joshua Reesey and 2 great grandchildren, Emiley Reesey and Tyler Wolfhope.

Ed is survived by his wife Linda (Thomas) Reesey; 4 children, Terry Reesey of Dilltown, Pennsylvania, Tammy (Robert) Lichtenfels of Johnstown, Robin Reesey of Everett, Pennsylvania and Katie (Brian) Seevers of Hampton Township, Pennsylvania; 5 grandchildren, Chad (Lisa) Reesey, Amy (Anthony) Sidari, Kasey Lichtenfels, Brittney (Travis) Toy and Shanna (Phil) Kapelewiski; 6 great grandchildren, Kaileb Ghezzi, Riley Wolfhope, Connor Reesey, Miles Toy, Rohan Kapelewski, Iylah Kapelewski,; 5 siblings, Charles (Margarette) Reesey of Annville, Pennsylvania, James Reesey of Coral Springs, Florida, Carol Querry of Jeanette, Pennsylvania, Bonnie Wentz of Johnstown and Shirley Ciszkowski of Surfside, South Carolina; 3 step siblings, Gerald “Jake” (Robin) Lane of Forward Township, Pennsylvania, Frank Lane of Greensburg, Pennsylvania and Bonnie Soyster of Texas.

A Memorial Service will be held for Ed on Saturday, March 14, 2020 in the Bible Baptist Temple 1415 Worthington Avenue, Clairton, Pennsylvania 15025 with Pastor Donald Thompson officiating the service.
