DORIS FARBER

Doris (Stevens) Farber, age 93 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019.  She was born on December 29, 1925 in Jefferson Township, Pennsylvania, one of two children of  the late David A. and Catherine (Kress) Stevens.

She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church now Crossroads Community Church in Jefferson Hills.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Farber, Sr. (May 2013); son, Greg Bowers and step son Glenn Farber, Jr.

Doris is survived by two sons, David (Lisa) Bowers of Georgia and Scott (Rhonda) Bowers of Colorado; step daughter, Linda Farber; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her sister, Lois “Irene” (the late Don) Shaw and nieces & nephews.

There will be no visitation or service according to Doris’ wishes. She will be buried in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies along side her husband Glenn.
