DIANE LOUISE (BUCHES) FERRARI
Diane Ferrari, age 53 of Jefferson Hills, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at her home, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer.
Diane was born November 18, 1960 in Pittsburgh, one of five children of Walter William Buches and Ruth Mary (Schultz) Buches. She was an employee of Associates in Ophthalmology and formerly employed by Three Rivers Bank and T & D’s Pub & Grub in Clairton. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and a “Lover of Life” who loved music, singing and hosting family gatherings.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter in November 2013, and is survived by her husband, Lino Ferrari; her mother, Ruth; her four siblings, Dorothy (Buches) Zewe, Gregory (Rita) Buches, Donna (Buches) (Mike) Winter and Lawrence Buches; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dino and Camille Ferrari; many loving nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Crystal.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 1 – 3 and 5 – 8 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills. A prayer will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare of Assisi Parrish at 10 AM. Interment will be in St. Clare Cemetery in Clairton.
