DELLA (WISE) YANDRLIC HENDERSON
Della Henderson, age 87, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at her home in Liberty Borough, Pennsylvania. She was born Della Elizabeth Wise on August 29, 1930 in Jefferson Borough (now Jefferson Hills), Pennsylvania, one of six children of Vincent and Pearl Cathryn (Martin) Wise. She was a life long member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church in Jefferson Hills.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Phillip Yandrlic and Roy Henderson; a son, Dennis Yandrlic and all of her siblings, sister, Thelma Harrison and brothers, Delbert, Delmar, Glenn and Darl Wise. Della is survived by her son, Dan (Christine) Yandrlic; daughter-in-law, Denise Yandrlic; granddaughter, Rachel (Brett) Skelley; great-grandson, Vaughn and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM in Stephen D Slater Funeral Home, 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. There will be a Prayer in the funeral home at 10:15 AM with the funeral service following at 11 AM in the Jefferson United Methodist Church, 310 Gill Hall Road, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025. She will be buried next to her parents in the Jefferson United Methodist Cemetery, immediately behind the church.
