Daniel J Herb

Daniel J. Herb, age 87, of Charleroi, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. He was born on January 15, 1938, the second youngest of 10 children to the late Samuel Grant and Emily (Moon) Herb.

Daniel grew up in Buena Vista, PA and would eventually move to Charleroi where he built his own home. He was a very skilled craftsman and woodworker. During his professional career he owned a flooring business in Sutersville, PA and eventually joined the Tile Setters Union where he worked on many big projects such as Century III, Ross Park and Monroeville Malls. He was also a former member of the Buena Vista Fire Hall. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all of his siblings, Florence, Dorothy, Evelyn, Mildred, Charlotte, Pearl, Sanford, James and Robert. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Services for Daniel will be held privately.
