CAROL  (KEFFER)  FULLER

Carol Fuller, age 68 of Clairton, Pennsylvania, died in her home surrounded by family members on Saturday, August 11, 2018.  She was born, Carol Rae Keffer on December 23, 1949, a daughter of David Allen Keffer II and Naomi Francis (Stange) Keffer in the Floreffe area of then Jefferson Township, now Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania.  Carol worked as a legal advocate for domestic abuse at Women’s Place.  She loved history, gardening and the outdoors.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Fuller, Sr. and two of her siblings, her sister, Cheryl Finch and brother, David A Keffer III.  She is survived by her five children, Melissa (David) Phillips, Jayme (Travis) Stoffer, Kendra (Troy) Lewis, Becky (Jesse Long) Fuller and Gary Lee Fuller, Jr.; adopted daughter, Tracey Hornyak; 10 grandchildren, Travis, Jr., Callie, Jacob, Gabrielle, Josie, Kaden, Nolan, Sawyer, Zoey and Teagan; her remaining three siblings, Jack (Sharon) Strange, Jody (Bobby) Van Voorhis and Heather (Aaron) Cushey and best friend, Eric Simpson.

There will be a Reception of Friends on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 5 – 8 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025.  A memorial service will be held at 7:30 PM during the reception of friends.

If desired Carol’s family suggests contributions in her name to any domestic violence shelter in your area.

Carol would want to be remembered as “one who loved her family”.
