BRAD “BOO” DAWSON

Brad “Boo” Dawson age 38 of Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania, died on Monday, September 1, 2025. He was born Bradley Alex Dawson on September 23, 1986, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania one of two children of Edgar John, Jr. and Barbara Jean (Dziamniski) Dawson.

Brad grew up in Pleasant Hills and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 2005 and Waynesburg University in 2010. He loved sports, playing Football, Baseball and Basketball and being the Quarterback for the TJ Football PA State Champions in 2004. He was currently playing in an adult softball league and one of his hobbies was cutting hair for family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara in 2021 and followed in death by his father, Ed. Brad is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Heather Dawson of Jefferson Hills, and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

Family and friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2 – 6 PM with his funeral service following at the conclusion of the visitation. His burial will be private.
