BONNIE (DeWITT) MUSE
Bonnie Elizabeth Muse, age 70, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the home of her sister Leisa Mitchell in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. She was surrounded by many family members, including her daughter, son-in-law, grandsons and sister. She was born in Friendsville, Maryland on September 18, 1944. Bonnie was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, where she sang in the choir for many years. She was also a member of the Harmony Singers.
She was preceded in death by her, mother, Elizabeth (Umbel) Cupplo; step - father, Joseph Cupplo; husband, Perry George Muse, Sr. in 2001 and four siblings, Joseph Cupplo, Jr., Gary DeWitt, Joyce Verbus and Doris Jean Ziegler. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Carla (Jeff) Guthrie of Uniontown; two grandsons, Jeffery and Sean Guthrie; two step - children, Denise Hosbach and Perry Muse, Jr.; step - granddaughter, Michelle Hughes; step - great grandson, Landon Hughes and eight of her siblings, Robert (Helen) DeWitt, Jack (Karin) Cupplo, Harry (Doris) Cupplo, Shelba Tedesco, Leisa (John) Mitchell, Rocco (Veronica) Cupplo, Ruth Ann Hebda and Nancy Bastik.
Friends will be received from 1 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2015 in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. Her funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 1 PM. Her burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in the Pleasant Hills section of Pittsburgh beside her husband.
