Barbara Noll, age 83, of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026. She was born Barbara Ann Bandi on December 28, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Joseph Charles Bandi and Veronica Rita (Tyman) Bandi.
Barbara was one of the sweetest, most selfless, loving, and devoted people her family ever knew. She had a kind heart, a gentle spirit, and a deep love for her family that showed in everything she did. She was always thinking of others, always making sure those she loved were safe, cared for, and together. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering faith shaped the lives of everyone blessed enough to know her.
Barbara grew up in the Mount Oliver section of Pittsburgh before her family moved to Brentwood Borough, where she graduated from Brentwood High School in 1960. After high school, she earned an associate’s degree from Robert Morris Business School. During her working career, she was employed by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in South Park, Pennsylvania, in the Property Management Division as an Inventory Specialist from the 1980s through the early 2000s.
Barbara loved Jesus, the Bible, Israel, and was a devoted conservative Christian whose faith was the foundation of her life. She loved the Steelers, Fox News, Westerns, history, and reading books. True to her loving heart, when reading, she always read the ending first to be sure it was happy before deciding to continue. She treasured family vacations staying in the cabins at Keystone State Park and cherished family gatherings most of all. Barbara always wanted everyone there, together, and on time—not out of anger, but because she deeply loved her family and wanted to know they were safe.
She met her beloved husband, Donald, in 1963 at a Memorial Day picnic in Racoon State Park, and they were married two years later on July 17, 1965. Together they built a life centered around faith, family, and love.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her son, James Donald Noll.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Donald William Noll; her three children, Pamela (Bishop Phil) Maggio, Douglas (Tammie) Noll, and Robert (Kayla) Noll; her daughter-in-law, Brandy Noll, wife of her late son James Donald Noll; her 13 cherished grandchildren, Priscilla, Anna, Ember, Tenon, Haven, Justice, Anthony, Holly, Tyler, Olivia, Jamal, Hunter, and Anneliese; her two sisters, Sister Norma Bandi and Carol Bandi; her brother-in-law, Gerald Noll; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 1:30–3:30 p.m. and 5:30–8:00 p.m. at the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home, 1701 Route 51, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com.
