Barbara C Hentsch

Barbara C. Hentsch, age 74, of Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 31, 2023 in Olathe, Kansas, where she had been living most recently near her sister.  She was born April 3, 1949 in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania 1 of 3 children of the late John Frederick and Pearl Phyllis Hentsch.

Barbara was most recently a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Olathe, KS. She is survived by her sisters, Kathleen (Richard) Hanebutt of Shawnee, KS and Marcia Colgan of Jefferson Hills, PA; nieces & nephews, Kelly (Leo) Niemetz, Seth (Sandie) Hanebutt, Gretchen (Jay) Schroeder, & Kristy (Anthony) Liberatore; & great nieces and nephews, Logan & Landon Niemetz, Will, Amelia & Liesl Schroeder, & Otto & Nelda Hanebutt.

A committal service will be held for Barbara on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11am in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in McKees Rocks, PA where she will be laid to rest next to her parents. Arrangements cared for by Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home.
