Ann (Bradford) Prokop

Ann Prokop, age 87 of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, September 1, 2023.  She was born Ann Dwinell Bradford on August 29, 1936, in Augusta, Georgia.

Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, John Rodney Prokop in 2021; a grandson, Justin Prokop; her sister, Jean (Bradford) Stout and her parents, James Anderson and Irma (Grogan) (Bradford) Anderson.

She is survived by five children, Stephen (Sherrie Wittmer) Prokop of Port Vue, Pennsylvania, Michael (Deborah) Prokop of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, John (Susan) Prokop, Jr. of Mt. Oliver, Pennsylvania, Joseph (Meg) Prokop of Brookline, Pennsylvania and Daniel (Lori) Prokop of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren, Michael (Jill), Lisa (Paul), Ryan (Carrie), Joseph (Amanda), Matthew (Chelsea), Danielle (Steven) and Dylan; eleven great grandchildren, Maci, Cali, Nathan, Zachary, Archer, Baron and Marissa Prokop, Alexis Polcawich, Peyton and Graci Aurandt and Sawyer Bradley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; her loving dog Charlie and many grand dogs.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 3 – 7 pm in the Stephen D. A time of celebrating and sharing stories about Ann’s life will follow at the end of the Visitation.

Ann will be buried, at a later date, with her husband in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania.

Ann was a dedicated Mother, Mother-in-law, and Grandmother.
