ANGELINE (BERNARDO) OCZYPOK
Angeline Oczypok, age 88, of Clairton, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015. She was born, Angeline Catherine Bernardo, on January 8, 1927 in Clairton, one of eight children of the late Ralphael and Concetta (Demis) Bernardo. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Oczypok, Sr. in 2008; five sisters, Grace Curringa, Esther Mackinack, Mildred Bernardo, Nellie McFarland and Mary Carroll and one brother, Vincent Bernardo. She is survived by three children, Paul (Maureen) Oczypok of Moon Township, Mark (Rhonda) Oczypok of Pleasant Hills and Joseph (Loraine) Oczypok of McCandless Township, all in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, Kate, Beth, Chris (Lauren), Annie, Sara, Matt, Meg and Derek; one brother, Anthony (Caroline) Bernardo and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 6 – 8PM on Thursday, May 28, 2015 and from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM on Friday, May 29, 2015 in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. There will be a prayer in the funeral home on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 9 AM with a Mass of Christian burial Celebrated at 10 AM in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Baldwin Borough in Pittsburgh.
