Alberta Hout age 99 of Elrama, Union Township, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016. She was born on July 29, 1916 in Lover, Charleroi, Pennsylvania the only daughter of Clyde & Rachel Sphar. She was a member of Elrama United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin E. Hout and her three brothers. She is survived by her children, Nancy (the late Gene) Larkin, Peggy (Guy) Bramucci, Glenda (the late Bill) Tierney; grandchildren, Ken (Stacie) Bickerton, Jay (Maria) Bickerton, Luann Bramucci, Jodi Bramucci, Chad (Kherissa) Withers, Troy (Molly) Withers; and great grandchildren, Meghan (Jon), Jesse, Heather, Jacob, Atacie, Zach, Andrew, Kamryn, Jackson, Kendall, Caleb and Emma.
Friends will be received from 1–7 pm on Sunday, January 10th at the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held Monday, January 11th at 11am, with Reverend Hal Dangel officiating. A burial will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery in Lover, Charleroi, PA. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Elrama United Methodist Church P.O. Box 192 Elrama, PA 15038.
Alberta was a very loving mother and grandmother who was always devoted to her family.
