Emily Agnes Stanton, age 33 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on April 3, 2023.
Emily was a beautiful soul, with a vibrant personality, who exhibited the most heart-felt generosity to those she loved and admired. Her love of the outdoors inspired her to compose poetry and create beautiful artwork. Throughout her life, Emily found true peace while exploring nature and all of God’s beautiful creation. She was eagerly looking forward to mastering the skill of fly-fishing under the tutelage of her brother Max, and they were both excited to spend more time together as brother and sister. She was also an accomplished ice skater and equestrian. She loved politics, current events and was a staunch supporter of the United States Space Force Program.
Being a Certified Recovery Specialist for Life Works, Belle Vernon, PA, was by far, the highlight in Emily’s life. She was devoted to this cause and found true happiness and satisfaction, knowing that she was filling a void in so many lives, a void which she, herself, had experienced. Emily was a shining light and inspiration to the many individuals struggling to redirect their lives and find employment after drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Margaret Garshak. She is survived by her daughter, Summer Marie Anderson, the shining star in her life; loving parents, Pamela and Craig Stanton; brother Maxwell; grandparents, Edward and Margaret Stanton; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Emily will also be greatly missed by her loving companion, B. Patrick Boyle.
Friends and family will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home, 1701 Route 51, Jefferson Hills, PA 15025 ( 412-384-0350 ) on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4 pm – 8 pm. A Prayer Service will be held at 6 pm during the visitation.
