Harry “Bud” Christofel, age 73 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania died peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 16, 2018. He was born Harry Emerson Christofel on July 10, 1945 in Jefferson Borough (now Jefferson Hills), Pennsylvania, one of two children of H. Emerson Christofel and Edith Brooks (Beam) Christofel.
Bud retired after over 40 years working at US Steel’s Irvin Works in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. He served four years in the Army during the Vietnam War era and was stationed in Korea. He loved to play golf and played courses all over the U. S.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his sister, Nancy Dyson, who lived next door to him in Jefferson Hills; three nieces, Dawn (Jeff), Sheri (Robert) and Tracy (Ken) and two great nephews, Jim and Jeremy.
